U.K. Citizens
British nationals do not need a visa to enter Belize. On arrival, you’ll be allowed to enter for one month. Any extension to remain in the country will incur a fee of BZD$200 for each month’s extension.
There are no direct flights between the U.K. and Belize, and the regulations of countries you may pass through and U.K. requirements on travel from transit countries may affect your trip. For more information, see FCDO Travel Advice on the countries through which you may travel or transit.
Canadian and Belize Passports
U.S. Citizens
You must have a U.S. passport valid for the length of your stay, proof of an onward or return ticket, and sufficient funds to cover the cost of the length of stay. If you enter Belize by land, you will be charged different fees depending on whether your visit is less than or more than 24 hours. Belize does not require specific immunizations for visitors; the U.S. Centers recommend vaccinations for Disease Control. If you visit Belize as a tourist, you do not need a visa. Visitors planning to stay more than 30 days must have their passport re-stamped by a local immigration office and pay an additional fee for every other month they wish to stay, up to six months. For visits longer than six months, you may need to provide further documentation to the local immigration office explaining the reason for a more extended stay. You may also need to pay additional fees. Visit the Embassy of Belize on the United States website for the most current visa information.

Traveling with children
Single parents or adults traveling with children under 18 must provide notarised documentary evidence of parental responsibility or consent to travel from those with parental responsibility. Such documentation is often required before being allowed to enter Belize and, in some cases, before permitting children to leave the country.
