As well as Ipanema and Copacabana, Brazil also hosts many remote, off-the-beaten beach destinations, offering pristine white sand and turquoise - blue warm Caribbean waters. If you are looking for a more remote experience, with rugged horizons and no people, then this itinerary may just be what you are looking for, to experience a total disconnect!

Today is the first day of the trip and your arrival day to Fortaleza. Your guide will collect you from the airport in the morning and take you to the hotel. In the afternoon we will enjoy lunch and a half-day tour of this colourful, colonial city.
After breakfast, we will leave Fortaleza for the relaxed beachside vibe of Jericoacoara by a 4×4 vehicle. You will have a free evening to soak up the atmosphere and relax in this laid back village.
After breakfast, we will head out on a Full Day Tour to Tatajuba beach where the river mouth opens out into the sea. The pristine beach is perfect for kite surfing at high tide or journey to the lagoons at low tide and enjoys some of the best seafood on the planet! We will return to Jericoacoara for dinner and to spend the night.
After breakfast, we will head out on a full-day tour of the magical and enchanting Camocim Beach and impressive dunes. In the evening we will head to Parnaiba where we will spend the night.
Today we will enjoy a full-day tour to the Delta of Parnaiba’s rivers, a protected area and home to 140 fish species, including the freshwater stingray. The area is covered with mangroves as well as dunes, beaches, marshes and other habitats, making t the ideal home to many bird species.
Today we will leave Parnaiba for Barreirinhas. We will spend a full day at the remote Cabure beach for a perfect digital detox! We can also visit the Preguiças River that flows into the ocean here …. if we ever get bored with the spectacular pristine white sandy beaches. We will then head to Barreirinhas for the evening.
After breakfast, we will enjoy a full-day tour to The Lencois Maranhenses National Park. The fascinating, rolling sand dunes of this coastline make for stunning scenery and the shallow waters are home to a number of endangered fish and insect species native to the area, such as the rare “wolffish”. We will return to Barreirinhas for the evening.
Today we will head to Sao Luis, enjoying a tour on the Cardoso River along the way.
After breakfast, we will head out on a city tour of Sao Luis Day City tour, after which we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant to say our farewells. In the afternoon we will take you to the Sao Luis airport for the onward journey to your next destination!
