Day 1:Buenos Aires

Today you will arrive at the cosmopolitan capital of Buenos Aires. Our driver will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel. After some time to rest, your guide will collect you from your hotel   for an afternoon tour of the vibrant city of Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is a big city!  The capital is steeped in history, excellent eateries, coffee shops and cultural attractions abound. The centre is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with 19th-century stately buildings including The Casa Rosada, the iconic presidential palace. Other attractions include the MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art and The Colón Theatre, a grand opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, dating back to 1908.

Today is a free day, to take it as relaxed or as active as you like!

We suggest to visit a typical Estate, where you will experience all aspects of the Gaucho way of life, including traditional asados and wine!

Today we will head to the domestic airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu. On arrival, you will be met by your driver, who will take you to the Awasi Lodge. Located just 20 minutes from the world’s largest waterfalls, Awasi’s boutique, 14-room lodge is situated on the banks of the River Iguazú, surrounded by the Atlantic rainforest. Each villa is assigned with a private guide and 4WD, allowing guests to explore the area at leisure, visiting wherever you want and when you want! In the afternoon you may choose from a number of activities at Awasi Lodge.

Today you can choose from the many activities available at The Awasi Lodge. This includes a visit to both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the waterfalls

Day 5:Iguazu - Ushuaia

Today we will head back to the airport for our flight to Ushuaia. Our driver will be at the airport to take us to Los Cauquenes Hotel.  Los Cauquenes is a splendid Patagonic Hotel located on the coast of the Beagle Channel and surrounded by forests and the Andean Mountain Range. Ushuaia is located in Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost tip of South America, nicknamed the “End of the World.” This windswept town, situated on a steep hill, is surrounded by the Martial Mountains and the Beagle Channel.

Today, a small boat will take us to explore the Beagle Channel. You will be able to spot a variety of sea birds for seabirds such as the steamer duck, sheldgoose, kelp gull, seagull, and snowy sheathbill. On the shores of the Mary Ann Island and the Les Eclaireurs island, you will be able to see South American sea lions and fur seals, as well as both imperial and rock shags. Here we can see the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse and where you will learn about the 1930 shipwreck of the SS Monte Cervantes. 

In the afternoon, we will head to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where the sub-antarctic forest, the Beagle Channel, and the Andes mountain range all melt together. You will arrive at the Lapataia Bay renowned for its beauty but also where the Pan-American Highway ends.

Today you will have a free day to explore the wonderful town of Ushuaia. Activities include King crab fishing, hiking along the Atlantic Coast, a visit to an estate, or even a visit to the most southerly prison in the world!

Day 8:Ushuaia - Calafate - El Chaltén

Bright and early, we will head to the Ushuaia Airport for your flight to El Calafate. 

On arrival, our driver will be waiting to take us to the Explora Lodge in the Chaltén area.   

With views over the Electric Valley and the Marconi Glacier, this lodge is the perfect launching site to explore a world-renowned destination for nature lovers and trekking addicts.

Amongst the array of activities at The Explora Lodge in Chaltén are treks, overland trips, ice hikes, and even rock climbing. You may also visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier during your stay.

Today, we will have a morning transfer to El Calafate Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, your driver will take you to your hotel for the final evening in the capital. We recommend a dinner and tango show at one of the famous tango houses. 

Day 12 -Home

Today, your driver will take you to the airport for your departing flight home, or on to your next exciting destination!

Excellent experience

We have spent 10 days in Peru on a school trip and Valencia Travel was the local partner. We were very pleased with the itinerary and the support from our guides and drivers. We spent several days in Cusco, then went to a local Cacao Farm and after of course Aguas Calientes. Everyone in the group had a great time and our guide Ronaldo tried his best to ensure all needs were met.

Best travel guide and company for our family trip to Machu Picchu

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) did the short Inka trail to Machu Picchu and our guide Carlos Caceres was the best! He made our trip to Machu Picchu very special and memorable. He was very experienced, kind, patient and always made sure we were taken care of. The trip went so smoothly because of Carlos. From making sure we got on trains to buses to trail crossings to restaurants in town, he was always on top of it. Highly recommend Valencia Travel Cusco and Carlos as your guide. We were grateful for everything.

Amazing experience, lifetime of memories!

The trip was incredible! The views were spectacular, the history is amazing and we could not have asked for more. The trail was challenging, but it was worth it. Our guide Miguel made sure everything went smoothly and he made the difficult journey a joy for me and my family! Highly recommend for any family looking for an adventure!
