We will then visit the centre of the city, with the obelisk and the Plaza de Mayo, famous for Eva Peron’s “Don’t cry for me, Argentina”.  In the evening, you can head to a traditional dinner and tango show, in one of the famous Tango houses.

Today, we will visit Los Glaciares National Park to see the famous Perito Moreno glacier, found above Lake Argentino. Undoubtedly the park’s most famous highlight, with massive chunks of ice, breaking free from the main glacier, crashing into the lake below.

We will then get closer to the immense glacier on a short boat trip so that we can get closer to the glacier and see its southern wall.

We will then head to the viewpoint in front of the glacier. This view of this immense glacier is humbling and an experience which will be remembered for years. After this spectacular visit, we will head back to the hotel.

The Iguazu Falls are on the border between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. Today, we will visit the Argentine side of the falls, where we will walk along the lower and upper trails of the river via specially constructed walkways to the electrifying Devils Throat. This stunning fall is the biggest and most spectacular in the national park, and you can get up close to this plummeting misty abyss.

Day 7:Iguazu falls - Brazilian side

The Iguazu Falls in Brazil offer a more panoramic and truly stunning view of the falls. They are composed of a variety of falls, ranging between 150 and 270 metres, depending on the water volume in the river. The many falls include Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamin Constant, and of course the most famous of all, The Devil’s Throat. The Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side is the perfect example of a symbiotic relationship between conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources. This significant biological diversity and the unique landscape of the waterfalls, made the Iguazu National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 1986.   From the falls, we will head to the airport in Foz de Iguazu for your flight on to your next exciting destination!

Excellent experience

We have spent 10 days in Peru on a school trip and Valencia Travel was the local partner. We were very pleased with the itinerary and the support from our guides and drivers. We spent several days in Cusco, then went to a local Cacao Farm and after of course Aguas Calientes. Everyone in the group had a great time and our guide Ronaldo tried his best to ensure all needs were met.

Best travel guide and company for our family trip to Machu Picchu

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) did the short Inka trail to Machu Picchu and our guide Carlos Caceres was the best! He made our trip to Machu Picchu very special and memorable. He was very experienced, kind, patient and always made sure we were taken care of. The trip went so smoothly because of Carlos. From making sure we got on trains to buses to trail crossings to restaurants in town, he was always on top of it. Highly recommend Valencia Travel Cusco and Carlos as your guide. We were grateful for everything.
