Peru

As you can see Peru came out on top in Latin America with 3 increíble restaurants to visit on your Peru vacation packages.  Peru also won the competition last year (2023) when Central in Lima, won this coveted competition. This year their sister restaurant Kjolle also featured in the top 20. Maido topped the rankings, showcasing the persistence of Peruvian restaurants in the top 50.  proving that the South American country is a true gastronomic heavyweight. Mexico

Mexico also had something to say in the rankings, with 3 restaurants in the top 50. Located in Mexico City, Quintonil, by chef Jorge Vallejo, has been recognized for its use of fresh, local ingredients and traditional Mexican flavors. It moved up two positions from the rankings in 2023 Another Mexico City favorite, Pujol is known for its innovative take on traditional Mexican recipes using high-quality indigenous ingredients. The restaurant is led by chef Enrique Olvera. Also in Mexico City, Rosetta, founded by chef Elena Reygadas, combines Italian-inspired cuisine with a reinterpretation of traditional Mexican dishes. This year, it climbed 15 spots from its previous position.

Brazil

Brazil had two showings in the list of the 50 World Best Restaurants.  Casa do Porco is Located in São Paulo. This restaurant is co-owned by chefs Jefferson Rueda and Janaína Torres, and is known for its innovative pork-based dishes. Janaína Torres, recently awarded The World’s Best Female Chef 2024, has contributed immensely to its success by emphasizing accessible fine dining and social responsibility.
