Day by day schedule
Day 01 -BUENOS AIRES
Today is arrival day. Our driver will be waiting at the airport in Buenos Aires to take you to your hotel.
Day 02 -BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast, we will explore the city of Buenos Aires. We will begin by visiting the glamorous Alvear Avenue to 9 de Julio Avenue, from where you can see the Teatro Colón. We will then observe the famous Obelisk on the way to the Plaza de Mayo with the Government House (Casa Rosada), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. We will continue to the traditional neighbourhood of San Telmo, whose magical atmosphere and street tango will take us back in history. We will then continue onto La Boca where the first Italian immigrants settled, famous for its picturesque and colourful architecture. Here we can also see the famous "La Bombonera" stadium of the Boca Juniors football club. Next is Puerto Madero, where the most famous restaurants of Buenos Aires are located. After which we will head to Palermo, a residential neighbourhood with parks, embassies and important monuments. Finally, we will head to Bosques, with beautiful roses on display all year round! We will then head back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 3 -BUENOS AIRES- LOS PATOS ESTATE
Los Patos is one of the most exclusive “estancias” of the area, dedicated to the production of Aberdeen Angus beef, polo horses, and various agricultural activities. The main building of The Estancia Los Patos was built by Angel Estrada in 1969. Los Patos offers many traditional countryside activities of Argentina such as “taba”, croquet, “sapo”, bowls and card games. We will be greeted with empanadas, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. Then at midday, we will enjoy a Creole-style barbecue, served with a variety of salads and local desserts. We will be accompanied by traditional Argentine folk melodies, offered by our host, Angel Estrada. In the afternoon, tea, coffee and soft drinks will be served along with home-baked cakes and pastries. After this fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable, traditional experience, we will head back to the city for the evening.
Day 04 -IGUAZU
After breakfast, we will head to the domestic airport for our flight to Iguazu. In the afternoon, we will visit the Iguazu falls' Argentinian side, recently named as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Here, we will be able to appreciate the impressive beauty of these waterfalls as well as the variety of flora and fauna in the national park, along their specially constructed walkways. In the afternoon we will head to The Puerto Bemberg Reserve
Day 05 -PUERTO BEMBERG
Today we will have a free day to enjoy the Puerto Bemberg Reserve, where there are a host of activities to choose from. Including bird watching, animal spotting and natural history: The local specialist guides will take you around the reserve offering incredible insight into flora and fauna. It offers an excellent opportunity for bird-watching such as trogons, dancers, red-ruffed fruit crows, dusky legged guans and different kinds of toucans. There are many other animal species also present in the park. The national park is dedicated to jungle reforestation and are working on a programme of reforestation of 30 hectares of Atlantic rainforest, by re-planting native species. Guests are invited to join this initiative by adopting a tree and planting it. We will be able to observe the 50 native species which are currently cultivated in the national park, where modern techniques are balanced with the natural protection of the Misiones jungle and its proximity to the Paraná River. The available activities include:
Kayaking expeditions are organized to explore the coast of the Paraná River and visit the Guatambú stream.
Bicycles are available for guests to rent for their free days in the National park
Visit the Chapel and Andrés Johnson Museum.
Traditional tea - This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the national drink and pastime of “yerba mate.”
Regional cuisine cooking classes are an excellent way to learn the diverse uses of the regions products and their use in delicious traditional dishes and recipes.
A boat ride along the Paraná River and visit to Yasy waterfalls for an additional cost of $50 USD per person.
Day 06 -PUERTO BEMBERG
Today we have another day to enjoy some of the numerous activities at Puerto Bemberg.
Day 7 -PUERTO BEMBERG - MENDOZA
After breakfast, we will head to the Iguazu airport for our flight to the city of Mendoza. Our driver will be waiting at the Mendoza airport to take us to the hotel.
Day 08 -MENDOZA
Today, we will head to Catena´s World … demonstrating 100 years of Argentinian viniculture and spanning over four 4 generations. Discover first-hand all of the secrets of Catena Zapata. We will visit the Caro Cellar, and Catena Zapata Cellar, to learn more about the wines produced there and then we will enjoy our lunch at the Casa El Enemigo restaurant.
Day 09 -MENDOZA
After breakfast, we will enjoy the extraordinary Aconcagua experience with a luxury picnic and views of the biggest mountain of the Andes. We will head southwest until we reach Potrerillos. We will be able to appreciate the magnificent view of the majestic Cordón del Plata, Mendoza's main water source and the picturesque Potrerillos Dam, The dam resembles a mirror of crystal clear water in the middle of the mountains. As we continue along the road, we can enjoy the unique and spectacular landscape, passing through tunnels and over bridges, until we arrive at the town of Uspallata. We will stop along the way to get a panoramic view of the Valley. Our next stop is the Aconcagua Provincial Park, where we will experience the stunning prowess of the highest mountain in the Americas. We will then head on to the "Puente del Inca". an almost obligatory stop in this iconic mountain range. Here we will learn about the peculiar history and have some spectacular views of the bridge. We will then return to the city with these impressive Andean landscapes ingrained in our memory forever.
Day 10 -MENDOZA
Today is a free day to enjoy the city and surrounding area.
Day 11 -MENDOZA - VILLA LA ANGOSTURA
After breakfast, we will head off to the Mendoza airport for our flight to Bariloche. On arrival, our driver will be waiting to take us to VILLA LA ANGOSTURA
Day 12 -VILLA LA ANGOSTURA
Today we can enjoy a full day hiking in the area. We can choose from a number of short hikes, adventure tours and activities in the national park of Nahuel Huapi. Many areas can only be reached by foot and the trekking in the park is one of the most popular activities for visitors. We will be able to totally reconnect with nature and explore the most remote areas of the Northern Patagonia. Santa Ana and Dora waterfall, Ñivinco waterfall, Brazo ultima esperanza, Cascada del Zorro, Camino del Cóndor, Filo Belvedere & Belvedere viewpoint, Cajón Negro, Cerro Panguinal, Cerro Centinela, Cerro Dormilon are just some of the highlights in the park.
Day 13 -VILLA LA ANGOSTURA
Today we will enjoy the Arrayanes Forest. We will head off on our private boat to the Arrayanes forest, appreciating the picture-perfect surrounding scenery. On arrival to the Arrayanes National Park, we will disembark to hike the 800 metre trail and admire the wonderful, cinnamon-coloured ancient forest. We will return to the boat to spend some time connecting with nature and learning about the history of the area along the different shores of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. At the end of the visit, we will enjoy a smoked “picada” and a variety of appetizers, accompanied by a glass of local wine or a regional beer.
Day 14 -VILLA LA ANGOSTURA - BARILOCHE
Today we will head by boat to Bariloche and have a free afternoon in this quaint mountain town. Definitely visit the amazing chocolate shops, resembling something from a Willy Wonka scene!
Day 15 -BARILOCHE - BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast we will head to the airport in time for our flight, once more to the capital, Buenos Aires. We will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant before we say farewell and head on to our next destination.
