Chiloe Island is famous for its history, folklore, legend and handicrafts. This stunning island is covered by rolling hills and an evergreen forest and boasts an incredible variety of birdlife. With over 150 wooden churches, and picturesque timber houses perched, over the water on stilts, it is possible to stay overnight on the island.
