Full-On Beaches - Coast to Coast

Today we will head out to the Caribbean coast. We will travel through the jungle paradise of The Braulio Carrillo National park to the Caribbean beach town of Puerto Viejo.

Today we will head to the beach resort of Puerto Viejo on the south Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. From Cahuita to Manzanillo we can appreciate a series of idyllic beaches of golden sand, palm trees, turquoise water and gorgeous coral reefs. After breakfast, we will head out on a snorkelling tour of the world's 2nd largest coral reef. We can appreciate the incredible sea life, corals and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. In the afternoon, we will head out on a hike through the spectacular coastal forest to see some of the local flora and fauna. We will then head back to the hotel for the evening.

Today is a free day to relax on one of the many pristine beaches or take part in one of the many adventure activities available such as cycling, snorkelling or a number of water sports.

After breakfast, we will head inland to the Arenal Volcano National Park. The magnificent view of the Arenal volcano is the first sign that we are approaching our destination. After a free morning, we will head out on an afternoon hike through the rainforest. We will be walking over the ancient lava flows of the impressive volcano, while we appreciate the impressively unique views of the volcano. At the end of the hike we can relax in the Tabacon Hot Springs Tabacon features more than 20 natural pools and ponds strategically located along the walking trails of the park and provide a nice break from the exploration of flowers and the surprisingly regular sightings of local wildlife. After breakfast we will leave the impressive view of the volcano behind us, heading through the Guanacaste province. The area is blessed with magnificent savannas, landscapes and tropical dry forests, which will offer the backdrop for our journey.

We will have 2 full days to experience the North Pacific coastal beaches of the area  or to relax and enjoy the facilities in the fantastic hotel.  Activities include; swimming, diving, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle board, surfing, hiking to the national parks and mountains, horse riding, visit the hot springs, rappelling, canyoning, ziplining, rafting or simply relax and take in the sun at any of the spectacular beaches of the area.

Today is the final day of our tour. We will leave Liberia and head to the local airstrip for our flight back to the capital. On arrival to San Jose, we will assist you to the International departure lounge for your flight back home or on to your next exciting destination!
