Guanacaste: Volcanos and Beaches

After breakfast, we will get ready for a day full of adventure. We will be able to enjoy tree canopy walks, rock climbing, a Tarzan swing and hanging bridges. In the afternoon we can relax at the hot springs and cover your body with therapeutic volcanic mud to ease those aching muscles. Enjoy a variety of activities including zipline, rappelling, horseback riding, amongst others.

Today, we will head out on a hiking tour in “Las Pailas” where the hot mud pools are located inside the Rincon de La Vieja National Park. We will then head out on a hike through the dry tropical forest to see  incredible nature, volcanic activity, and wildlife, endemic to the National Park. The park is home to over 300 bird species and many mammals, including white-faced, howler monkey, spider monkeys, armadillos, collared peccaries, pumas, and white-nosed coatis, amongst many others.

After a relaxing morning, we will leave el Rincon de la Vieja on a 2  hour drive to the beautiful beaches of the North Pacific coast. We will arrive at the stunning Pacific beach of Tamarindo, where we can enjoy an array of adventure activities and water sports or simply relax and take in the scenery at this idyllic beach

Today you will have a 2 hour surf lesson. If you want security, fun and handy tips to learn how to surf, then you are in the right place! All you need to learn how to surf is the ability to swim and a good sense of humour. The qualified instructors offer a  fun, informative service and will guarantee that you will be able to stand up on your surfboard to ride your first wave in your first class. 

Available activities include; swimming, diving, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddleboard, surfing, hiking to the national parks and mountains, horse riding, visit the hot springs, rappelling, canyoning, ziplining, rafting or simply relax and take in the sun at any of the spectacular beaches of the area.

Depending on the time of your international flight, we will take you back to the Liberia International Airport, for your flight back home or onto your next exciting destination.
