Today is arrival day to Bogota Airport, where you will take an onward flight to La Macarena. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and head to the hotel. The guide will explain the itinerary for the next 4 days and answer any questions you may have. We will head out on our first excursion along Guayabero River to Cristalitos or by foot to Caño Piedra, El Mirador or Rio Bajo Lozada – These are assigned by the National Park depending on their days’ capacit...
After breakfast, we will head to the Guayabero River port to take a 20-minute boat ride along the river. We will then head off in a 4x4 jeep to the spring of Cajuche. To begin a hike towards Caño Cristales, also known as the 5 colours river, due to the rivers' red, green, yellow, blue and black hues. Today we will head out to the Guayabero River port once more, to take a boat for 20 minutes along the river. Then travel for another 30 minutes on a 4x4 jeep to the spring of Cajuche. Today we will hike another trail designated by the National Park.
In the morning, we will head off on the 3rd trail in the Caño Cristales Park, before we return to La Macarena Town for your return flight to Bogotá.
