8 Day - Escape To Paradise

Heading South through the stunning Central Pacific, the small agricultural town of Quepos will welcome us via a clifftop road that leads to The Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the way, we can see spectacular forests and beaches from the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the rainforest that leads down to the white sandy beaches of the park. These protect a number of habitats, including primary and secondary forest, mangroves, beach vegetation and marine resources. 

Today we will explore this incredible National Park. Our expert guide will explain all about the park's biodiversity, preserved for over 40 years. This impressive park offers beautiful beaches and magnificent flora and fauna, which combine uniquely this magical place.

Today we will head out on horseback to explore Costa Rica´s exotic plants and wildlife. We will ride through the rainforest to the Tocori Private Ecological Reserve, just minutes away from Manuel Antonio Park. Don Gilberto and his family will show us the real Costa Rica and we will learn all about the history and nature of this beautiful country. He will tell us about the native culture and take us for a refreshing swim in the mountain springs' natural, crystalline waters. This is where the impressive waterfalls of Tocori come alive amongst the lush vegetation. We will be able to sample fresh local fruits and a tropical drink made exclusively by Doña Eli, Don Gilberto´s wife, as we relax by the waterfalls. At their private ranch, Doña Eli will prepare a delicious Costa Rican Asado for lunch. After lunch, we will enjoy a tour of their garden to appreciate this stunning country's flora and fauna.

Today we will leave the Manuel Antonio National Park, heading to the Corcovado via Sierpe.  Are you ready to escape to a place of wild mountain forests, spilling down onto pristine beaches? Going down to the south Pacific to experience incredible biodiversity, we can get totally off the beaten track. Exotic rainforest lodges found amid striking surroundings, that offer incredible activities like rainforest hikes through Corcovado National Park, snorkelling off Caño Island, or yoga retreats can all be found here. This is the way to go if you are dreaming of a vacation to relax, renew, and have a total digital detox!

Today, we will spend the day exploring the Corcovado national park. San Pedrillo is the westernmost Ranger Station, closest to Drake Bay. The San Pedrillo trail will lead us through impressive primary forest and we will be able to appreciate all the local flora and fauna. After a little break at the park ranger station, there is a second shorter hike to a beautiful waterfall, where we will be able to swim in the refreshing, cool clear water. We will then head back to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast we will leave this magnificent National Park and head to the airport of Palmar Sur for our flight to the capital once more. On arrival, we will head to the hotel for our final evening.

Today is your final day. We will pick you up at your hotel, to take you to the San Jose airport for your flight back home or on to your next exciting destination!
