Today is a free day to enjoy the beach and the activities available on the island. You can take a short boat trip out to Johnny Cay where it is possible to see more than 30 different species of fish. The island has an area called “playa de Cedro” which protects the beaches from waves and strong winds, making this a refuge for many sea birds. The Aquarium is worth a visit and the snorkelling is incredible. Of course, you can always kick back and relax on the beach!
Today we will leave San Andres Island for a 20-minute flight to Providencia. On arrival, we will be taken to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the beaches and relax.
Today is a free day to spend time on the beach or explore some of the other beaches on the island. We recommend a visit to the Santa Catalina Island, connected to Providencia by a brightly painted wooden bridge called the “Puente de Amor”. You can also take a boat ride to explore the hidden bays on the island. Declared a protected biosphere by UNESCO this is one of the most accessible and well preserved coral reefs in the world, perfect for snorkelling.
Another free day to explore the beaches or simply chill out on this stunning island. We recommend a hike to the Peak for spectacular panoramic views of the island. Most of the freshwater found on the island is found on this mountain. On the hike, you will walk through rainforest that is home to many species of tropical birds.
