The Argentine Adventure

After breakfast, we will head off on an electric bike tour. Discover one of Buenos Aires' best kept secrets! Following the bike lanes of the city, we will dive into the eclectic mix of the " porteña's” frenetic day to day life and the city’s history. From San Martin and Plaza de Mayo Square to Puerto Madero port, your guide will share with you all of the legends, curiosities and historical facts about this controversial and cosmopolitan capital - Buenos Aires.

After breakfast and a reasonably-timed start to the day, your guide will collect you at midday for a walking tour of the hidden graffiti of the city. Buenos Aires is a city full of urban art and modern-day culture. Around every corner, we can witness examples of this and our expert guide will show us where to look! After the graffiti tour, we will do a typical street food tour experiencing all the delights of the Porteña capital, such as empanadas, choripanes, local wine, provoleta and even home-made ice cream!

After breakfast, we will head to the domestic airport for our flight to El Calafate. On arrival we will head to our hotel and settle in for the next few days and prepare ourselves for some glacier trekking!

Today we will head off to the Moreno Glacier for some ice trekking on the glacier! This remarkable experience begins at the "Bajo de las Sombras" harbour early in the morning, where will take a 20 minute boat ride across to the “Brazo Rico”, found off the west coast. Our trek begins on the south side of the Perito Moreno glacier, where after approximately 1 hour, we will arrive at a spectacular viewpoint. Here we will access the ice itself and our guides will place the crampons and harnesses to begin the crossing over the ice. Once we are on the glacier and with the crampons in place, the world takes on a whole new perspective. The blue lagoons, deep cracks, huge crevices and magical caves, give us an other-worldly experience! We will then head back to our hotel in the afternoon.

Today, is a travel day as we head to El Chaltén to witness the Fitz Roy Massif and our next adventure.

After breakfast, we will head to the El Pilar area to the trailhead for today's trek. We will enter the forest of lengas and ñires, bordering the Rio Blanco. Continuing along this trail, we will arrive at the lookout point with excellent views of the Piedras Blancas Glacier. We will then continue to Poincennot camp, where we will see other trekkers who have come to visit this popular destination. On the banks of the river is a suspension bridge, which we will cross to get to the Base Camp at "White River", which is only used by climbers. From here, the guide will take us to the Mirador of The “Laguna de Los Tres”, which starts from Rio Blanco and 1 hour away, for those who still want to hike. From this lookout point, we can see the spectacular view of the Fitz Roy Massif, the lagoon and its glaciers. A few metres away, you can also enjoy an excellent view of the Sucia Lagoon. After lunch, we will return to El Chaltén along the trail that passes by the Mirador of the Capri lagoon. We will then return to the village of El Chaltén

After breakfast we will head to the El Calafate airport to take our flight to Mendoza.

Tonight, we will have dinner at CASA EL ENEMIGO, and listen to a lecture by Alejandro Vigil, the oenologist of the Catena Zapata vineyard. He will introduce us to a whole new world of wine. Dinner will include 7 courses with selected wines

Today you will have a free day in the city of Mendoza.

Enjoy the fresh air and stunning countryside by a bike ride through the vineyards of two wineries. You can learn more about the vineyards and their product, with guided tours and wine tasting, at these picturesque vineyards in the foothills of the Andes mountains. To finish the tour, we will have dinner, watching the sunset over The Andes.

Today, we will take our flight back to Buenos Aires for your international connection or on to your next exciting destination!
