Top-End Argentina

After breakfast, we will explore the city of Buenos Aires. We will start by visiting the glamorous Alvear Avenue to 9 de Julio Avenue, from where you can see the Teatro Colón. We will then observe the famous Obelisk on the way to the Plaza de Mayo with the Government House (Casa Rosada), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. We will continue to the traditional neighbourhood of San Telmo, whose magical atmosphere and street tango will take us back in history. We will then continue onto La Boca where the first Italian immigrants settled, famous for its picturesque and colourful architecture. Here we can also see the famous "La Bombonera" stadium of the Boca Juniors football club. Next is Puerto Madero, where the most famous restaurants of Buenos Aires are located. After which we will head to Palermo, a residential neighbourhood with parks, embassies and important monuments. Finally, we will head to Bosques, and its beautiful roses on display all year round! We will then head back to our luxury hotel for the evening.

Today you will have a free day to explore this vibrant city. We suggest a visit to a typical Estate, where you will experience all aspects of the Gaucho way of life, including traditional asados and wine! 

Today is another free day to explore the cosmopolitan capital. We suggest a tasting your way through Buenos Aires - from Argentinian pizza, Choripanes, Empanadas and dulce de Leche with alfajores, for those with a sweeter tooth. In the evening, why not check out a dinner and tango show at one of the famous Tango halls? 

After breakfast, we will head off to the domestic airport for a flight to El Calafate. On arrival, your driver will be waiting to take you to Eolo. This boutique Patagonian ranch, inspired by the old Argentine “estancias” will be home for the next few days.

After breakfast we will head to the pier. We will begin our 3 day Santa Cruz cruise, boarding Santa Cruz luxury boat inn Tranquila Bay. We will then explore the glaciers in luxury on this incredible journey for the next 3 days with tonights stop at the Bahía Alemana, where we will have dinner and spend the evening in luxury, accompanied by the spectacular sunset.

Today we head to the Puesto de las Vacas, where we will take a walk in the verdant mountain slopes. We will then head to the spectacular Spegazzini Glacier, the best possible backdrop for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will head through the icefields to the Upsala Glacier for another close-up view of a spectacular glacier. We will then have a delicious dinner and spend the night in Bahía Toro, accompanied by the starriest of nighttime skies.

Impressive natural landscape. We will continue to the Mayo glacier and the Negro glacier and pass through Los Témpanos channel, on our way to the highlight of the cruise, the Perito Moreno Glacier. After lunch, we will continue Puerto Moreno, where we can walk along the northern footbridge of the glacier viewpoint. We will then return to Punta Bandera which marks the end of this spectacular glacial cruise. Our driver will take us to El Calafate for our onward flight to Bariloche. Our driver will be waiting to take us to the 5 star hotel for the evening.

After breakfast we will enjoy a unique boat trip, discovering the waters of the Great Lake of Nahuel Huapi with the backdrop of the imposing mountains that surround the Tristeza Arm and Blest arm of this great lake. These pristine landscapes, are stunningly representative of the Lake District in the North of Patagonia.

After breakfast, we will head to the airport for our flight to Iguazu.  Our driver will take us to the luxury hotel for the evening, in preparation for the activities the following day.

Our private 4x4 vehicle and a private guide will collect you to visit the stunningly impressive Iguazu waterfalls on the Argentinian side, where you may choose the days’ activities according to your tastes and preferences. You may choose between a number of full-day excursions with lunch included, or two half-day excursions, returning to lunch at the Awasi hotel, in between the two excursions

Once more your 4x4 vehicle and guide will collect you to visit the Brazilian side of the fall. Once more, you can decide on whether you would like to return to the hotel for lunch or enjoy lunch en route.

After breakfast your car and guide will take you to the excursions of your choice around the waterfalls, to make the most of these magnificent waterfalls.

Later in the day, we will head to the airport for our flight to Buenos Aires for our farewell dinner and the last night of the trip!
