Today is arrival day to Santiago. Your guide will be waiting at the airport to take you on the one hour journey to your hotel. Chile’s cosmopolitan capital, Santiago lies at the foot of the Andes and has a remarkable city centre and impressive modern neighbourhoods. Wherever you go in Santiago, you are surrounded by the snow-capped Andes, offering spectacular sunsets which turn the snow pink. You will have a free afternoon to explore this unique city.
After breakfast, we will head out on a half-day City Tour of Santiago, Stopping off at the Mercado for a local lunch. Spend the rest of the day exploring on your own. Why not spend the rest of the afternoon in the bohemian Lastarria area of Santiago?

After breakfast, we will head to the airport for your flight to Calama. On arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in San Pedro Atacama. This is the driest desert in the world blessed with spectacular horizons and incredible sunsets. This oasis town lies on the edge of the enormous Atacama Salt Lake.
Two full days exploring the Moon Valley, with its lunar-like appearance, an incredible place to see the spectacular sunsets; The Tatio Geysers on the highest geothermal field in the world; and The stunning Salt Flats spreading for miles.

In the morning we will head back to Calama for our flight to Santiago. On arrival, you will be met and taken to the colourful port of Valparaiso.
After breakfast, we will head out on a city tour to discover more about this UNESCO World Heritage site, perched on the edge of a steep hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The town is enchanting, offering a striking contrast between the colourful tin houses lining the hillside and the Victorian mansions down by the port. You will have a free afternoon to wander the quaint narrow streets, steeped in history.
Today is the final day of the tour. We will head back to the capital of Santiago for your flight back home or on to your next exciting destination!.
