Frida Kahlo is the representation of Mexico’s artistic heritage on a global level. Although her house is somewhat of a touristy, with long queues and hefty entrance fees, it’s also a must-do. It houses many of Frida´s personal possessions, artworks and relics.

This is the world’s third most-visited religious site, so the emblematic and culturally importance of the Basílica de Guadalupe can’t be missed from any visit to Mexico. Legend states that this is where the Virgen de Guadalupe appeared to Cuauhtlatoatzin in the 16th century. 

The majestic archaeological complex of Teotihuacán is close to Mexico City and a must do on the visit to the capital. Climb the pyramid of the Sun and the Moon, explore part of the archeological zone and learn about the important history of this magnificent pre-Hispanic city.
