Overview of Central Mexico

Central Mexico is volcano country with the giant Popocatépetl volcano at a whopping 5426 metres elevation. Tolantongo is worth a visit for its spectacular caves, hot springs, caverns, geysers and waterfalls, resembling something from a fantasy novel. There are some other incredible sites to visit on your visit to Mexico City such as the home of Frida Kahlo and the shrine of Guadelupe, not to mention, a number of mayan sites!
