They form an important part of everyday life with their “asados”, (Argentinian barbecue), wines, horse riding and country life, representative of the Gaucho culture. The Gaucho culture is vibrant from the North to the South of the country with its beautiful, traditional estancias, offering the best of authentic Argentine hospitality. This 13 day tour offers the best of the estates and the main attractions in the country inviting you to try an array of traditional activities such as polo classes, horse riding, traditional cuisine and birdwatching, amongst others. Day by day schedule
Day 01 -BUENOS AIRES
On your arrival to the Buenos Aires airport, you will be greeted by your driver to take you to your hotel in the City. After some time to rest up a little, your guide will come to the hotel for an afternoon tour of this incredible city.
Buenos Aires is a big city! The cosmopolitan capital is steeped in history, excellent eateries and coffee shops and cultural attractions abound. The centre is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with 19th-century stately buildings including The Casa Rosada, the iconic presidential palace. Other attractions include the MALBA museum, displaying Latin American art and The Colón Theatre, a grand opera house with nearly 2,500 seats, dating back to 1908.
Day 02 -BUENOS AIRES - LA BANDADA ESTATE
This morning we will head out of the city to La Bandada. La Bandada is found in the heart of the Argentinian Pampa’s, with endless horizons and grasslands providing the perfect backdrop for a stunning colonial estate, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area and get back to nature. Lagoons, ponds and streams cover the pampa and are the home of many animal, bird and plant species, giving abundance and life to this exclusive estate.
Day 03 -LA BANDADA ESTATE
Today we can take advantage of the many activities on offer at this immense estate. You can learn how to play Polo, go horseback riding, enjoy a cooking class, go bird watching or simply, take it easy with a glass of wine!
Day 4 -LA BANDADA ESTATE - CORDOBA ( LOS POTREROS)
Today we will head back to Buenos Aires for your onward flight to Cordoba.
On arrival, your private car will be waiting to take you to The Los Potreros Estate.
The estate is situated in the stunning range of hills called the ‘Sierras Chicas.’ These little-known hills are nestled between the Pampas and the Andean mountain range, renowned for its stunning scenery, diverse animal species and rural traditions of the gauchos.
This is a working farm and you are welcome to take part in the daily activities as you wish, there is always something to do!
Day 05 -LOS POTREROS ESTATE
Today we can take advantage of the many activities available at the estate, such as horse riding, helping on the farm, working alongside the Gauchos and traditional gaucho games, with the traditional Asado to keep us highly energised at all times!
Day 06 -LOS POTREROS ESTATE
Another day to take advantage of the many activities available at the estate, such as horse riding, helping on the farm, working alongside the Gauchos and traditional gaucho games, with an authentic typical "Asado" to keep us highly energised at all times!
Day 07 -LOS POTREROS - CALAFATE - NIBEPO AIKE ESTATE
Today we will leave the Potreros estate, for our morning flight to Cordoba and onward flight to El Calafate. At the airport, your driver will be waiting to take you to Nibepo Aike, an authentic Patagonian estate. The same family of four generations runs the estate and its rural activities. The estate previously raised sheep, but today they concentrate more on Hereford cattle. You can take part in rural activities with the horses, cattle or sheep on the farm and the work never stops, despite the cold or snowy weather. These 12,000 hectares of mountains and nature have a privileged landscape on the shores of the Argentine Lake.
Day 08 -NIBEPO AIKE ESTATE
The many activities to keep you busy on the estate include a visit to the Moreno Glacier, horseback riding to a hidden glacier or a day in the life on this impressive estate for an authentic Patagonian experience.
DAY - 09 - NIBEPO AIKE ESTATE
Today is another day to take advantage of the many activities on the estate, such as a visit to the Moreno Glacier, horseback riding to a hidden glacier or a day in the life on this impressive estate for the ultimate authentic Patagonian experience.
Day 10 -NIBEPO AIKE ESTATE - IGUAZU - PUERTO BEMBERG
Today we will head to the El Calafate Airport for your flight to Iguazu.
On arrival at the Iguazu airport your driver will be waiting to take you to Puerto Bemberg.
The Lodge is strategically located in the Misiones jungle, in a private nature reserve located just 35 minutes away from the magnificent Iguazu Falls. The Lodge was built from an old house owned by the traditional Bemberg Family, which has been completely renovated, maintaining all its character and the original architecture. The perfect place to stay with close access to the falls.
Day 11 -PUERTO BEMBERG
Today we will enjoy a full day visit to The Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls. Including the upper and lower path and the most spectacular fall, The Devil´s throat.
Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls as they are called in Brazil, are naturally formed falls found on the Iguazu River. The falls are found on the border of 3 countries, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. In Argentina they are found in the province of Misiones and on the Brazilian side, in the state of Paraná. Together, they make up the largest waterfall in the world. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu.
Day 12 -PUERTO BEMBERG
Today is a Free Day to explore the area. We suggest taking one of the biking or hiking trails to explore the incredible Iguazu reserve.
Day 13 -PUERTO BEMBERG HOME
Today your guide will pick you up from the estate to explore the Brazilian side of the waterfalls, for a completely different experience of these giant cascades.
From the falls continue on to Foz do Iguazu airport for your afternoon flight to Buenos Aires or you're next destination!
