Today, we will head back to the Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. On arrival at the airport, you will be met by your English speaking guide who will take you to the hotel in the centre. The cosmopolitan capital of Chile can be found at the foothills of the Andes. Hence, wherever you are in Santiago, the snow-capped Andes rise above you, offering spectacular sunsets which turn the snow pink! The city consists of its historical city centre as well as its impressive modern districts. The rest of the day is some free time to explore the city. We recommend heading to the famous Lastarria area of Santiago for great cafes, restaurants and an artistic vibe.
After breakfast, we will head to the Santiago airport for our onward flight to Puerto Montt. On arrival, you will be met by your local guide and taken to the Petrohue Lodge. Petrohue is located in the middle in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park on the emerald banks of The “Todos Los Santos” Lake. The magnificent Osorno volcano is the backdrop of the lodge, where you will have all you need to enjoy and appreciate the native flora and fauna of the area. The lodge is perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the unique lakes and volcanos nearby. We can then rest in front of the huge open fire, offering a warm environment and representing the services at this special lodge. After breakfast, we will head to the Puerto Montt airport for your flight to Punta Arenas.
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by your guide and taken to the Patagonia Eco Camp in Torres del Paine. The camp is the home of mountains that pierce the sky, azure lakes, blue and white glaciers, and endless expanses of plains and sky. Discover lands shaped by time, eternal and untamed. Aeons of ice, water, wind, and tectonic forces have crafted this refuge for pure nature and adventure – This is Patagonia. Be awed by the spectacular granite peaks of Torres del Paine, come face to face with the immensity of Grey Glacier, hike through the forests of French Valley, encounter guanacos, rheas, and condors on nature walks, trek through pampas, and fall in love with a land that both challenges and inspires everyone who visits.
