This wonderful romantic escape to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is the perfect honeymoon vacation. You will be staying in a beautifully restored hacienda near the stunning colonial city of Merida before jetting off to the beaches of Isla Holbox for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. If you can travel from June to September, then you can see the spectacular whale shark who’s breeding season is during these months for some truly unforgettable snorkeling and the ice on the cake for this spectacular beach resort.

Day by day schedule
Day 01 -Arrival to Cancun International Airport
Today is arrival day at Cancun International airport! You will be met by your guide and taken to the hacienda close to Merida City.
Day 02 -Merida
Today you will explore and learn about Merida, the capital of the Yucatan. We will head out on a cultural City tour which will take us back in time. This “white City” maintains its character with its old paved, cobbled streets and impressive buildings such as the Merida main Cathedral built in 1561, Casa de Montejo, the government palace, municipal palace, theatres, parks and markets. Also, the local cuisine is a must, as these Yucatecan dishes are world-renowned!
Day 03 -Uxmal and Kabah
Bright and early, we will head out to marvel at the world-renowned Maya temples and ball courts of Uxmal. Our guide will explain all about this magnificent temple and one of the finest examples of classic Maya architecture on the planet. This archaeological site has spectacular palaces, 15 groups of buildings, including the Adivino Pyramid and the Palacio del Gobernador. We will then head to Kabah, which is the second-largest Mayan ruin of the Puuc region after Uxmal.
Day 04 -Chichen Itza
Today we will wake up at the crack of dawn to visit Chichen Itza before the crowds arrive. This impressive Mayan temple is famous for the Kukulkan pyramid, the ball court, the observatory, the nunnery and the sacrificial well. The archaeological site remains in an excellent state of preservation. After this visit, we will head to Chiquilá, approximately two to three hours away, where you will take the ferry across to Isla Holbox. This is the perfect spot for barefoot strolls across the white sands. Holbox is renowned for local wildlife, the turquoise channel that separates it from the mainland is home to rich marine life and a fascinating array of birdlife. Between July and September, it is possible to snorkel alongside whale sharks for an unforgettable experience!
Day 05 -Holbox

Day 06 -Holbox

Day 07-Holbox

Day 08 -Cancun - Home
Today is the final day of this romantic tour. We will take you to Cancun airport for your departing flight home or onto your next incredibly romantic destination!
