Blessed with abundant rainforests, ruins, wildlife, strange regional specialities and an eclectic mixture of cultures, Chiapas is home to the indigenous people, Spanish and even Zapatistas! Personal space can be much shorter as well, but without being interpreted as sexual in nature.
