After breakfast in the hotel, we will head to the ruins of Panama Vieja, on the edge of the city, dating back to the 17th century. After breakfast, we will experience a partial canal transit to feel the excitement of going through part of the canal to experience the actual workings of the locks, which allow massive ships to pass through the canal from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea.
