Iguazu Falls is the experience of a lifetime, to witness these powerful waterfalls. Including boat rides and a visit to the nearby bird park, rich Brazilian flora and fauna including rare and threatened species. Today is arrival day to Salvador de Bahia. Our guide will collect you from the airport and take you to your hotel. After lunch, we will enjoy a historical city tour of this Portuguese colonial outpost with its remarkable architecture and Afro- Brazilian vibe. This home of the Capoeira and famous carnival city has so many sights to see and all within a stone’s throw from the spectacular coastline and pristine beaches.
After breakfast, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of Salvador. We will visit the football stadium, Dique do Tororó, the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, and the Mercado Modelo marketplace amongst other iconic sights in the city.
After breakfast, we will head to the airport for our flight to Foz do lguaçu. On arrival, our guide will collect us and take us to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit the Brazilian sides of the falls. The park surrounds the Iguazu waterfalls on this side of the border, with incredible panoramic viewing points and even a special elevator, specially constructed for viewing purposes.
Today we will head over the border to visit the Argentinian side of these spectacular waterfalls. We will visit the Iguazú National Park, declared by UNESCO as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. You can experience the impressive beauty of these waterfalls and the massive variety of flora and fauna by going along the different walkways, located on the falls' different levels. We can walk along the upper and lower circuits to see the Bozzeti Fall and Two Sisters fall for some spectacular views, after which, we will head back to our hotel.
After breakfast we will return to the airport for our onward flight to Rio de Janeiro. The guide will collect you from the airport for a Panoramic tour of Rio de Janeiro and fabulous beaches and coastline, after which, you will be dropped off at your hotel for the evening.
Today we will visit the Christ the Redeemer statue of “Corcovado” with spectacular views over the city of Rio. We will have lunch in a buffet-style restaurant accompanied by spectacular views over the city. After which we will head back down to the city and you will have a free afternoon to enjoy the fabulous beaches of Rio, including Copacabana and Ipanema.
After breakfast we will enjoy a visit to Sugar Loaf mountain with once more spectacular views over the Rio coastline and bay. We will then enjoy a barbecue lunch before returning to the city and for more beach time or even an optional trip to the favelas.
Today is the final day of the tour and you will have free time to visit your favourite beach or do some last-minute souvenir shopping in this vibrant city. We will then take you to the airport for your onward flight home, or to your next destination!
