The salt flats are incredible; in fact, there is nothing else like them on the planet! Octagonal, moon landscapes in winter and glassy mirrors in summer, the perspective of scale is non-existent in this part of the world. They are the home of the train cemetery and the gateway to the Eduardo Avaroa national park, home of coloured lakes, volcanoes, thermal springs and pink flamingos!

This extreme part of the wold is home to Bolivias Salta flats, stunning coloured lagoons and a lot of desert! This a national reserve home to wild vicuñas, geysers and volcanos which add to the incredible ambience in this remote region!
The Dahli desert is found within the Eduardo Avaroa National reserve. It gets its name because the incredible rock formations such as the stone tree, in the middle of this remote, altiplanic desert. Reminiscent of a salvador Dahli painting, hence the name! Nature is at her artistic best in this high altitude desert plain!
